3-Days Project Competition held at IIT Delhi (Robowars_IITD)

Our students, Tushar Khandelwal, Sameer Yadav, Sachin Sharma, and Rudraksh Bali, hailing from the Department of ASH, ECE and ME, participated in the Robo Wars event organized by IIT Delhi from March 29, 2024 to March 31, 2024 under the guidance of Ms. Swati Sharma, a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

The event offered a highly competitive platform for robotics enthusiasts to demonstrate their proficiency in designing and programming autonomous robots for combat. Our team successfully advanced to the second round, showcasing exceptional technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills. Throughout the event, the students gained invaluable experience in robot design, strategic planning and collaborative teamwork. This accomplishment has inspired us to further refine our skills and actively engage in similar events in the future.

Visit To The IT department At CanWinn Hospital

Our final-year students of CSE/AIML/DS had an insightful visit to the IT department at CanWinn Hospital, Gurugram. This opportunity allowed them to delve into the essential role of technology in supporting health and well-being, a crucial aspect of the UN-Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The visit aligns with UN-SDG 3, 4, 9, and 17:

MATLAB Workshop jointly conducted by EE/ ECE/ ME departments

Introduction about the workshop
A one-day MATLAB workshop was conducted for students to enhance their computational and analytical skills. The workshop aimed to provide hands-on experience with MATLAB, a powerful tool widely used in engineering for data analysis, algorithm development, and modeling.

Objectives of the workshop
– To familiarize students with the MATLAB environment.
– To teach basic and advanced MATLAB functionalities.
– To demonstrate real-world applications of MATLAB in engineering.

Day 1 – BTech & MTech

The excitement kicked off with the BTech and MTech students, who were introduced to the campus life and college community. The day was filled with energy, setting the tone for an incredible academic year ahead.

Day 2 – BBA

Our BBA students experienced a day full of enthusiasm and learning. From interactive sessions to fun activities, the second day of Aarambh 2024 continued to build the excitement among the freshers.

Day 3 – BCA

The grand finale saw our BCA students immersing themselves in the vibrant campus environment. The day was packed with motivational talks and engaging activities, leaving everyone inspired and eager to embark on their college journey.

Farewell 2024

A Heartfelt Farewell: College Bids Adieu to Graduating Class

In a poignant and celebratory event, DPGITM bid farewell to its graduating batch of 2024 in a vibrant and emotionally charged farewell party. The occasion, filled with nostalgia and anticipation, brought together students, faculty, and staff to honor the achievements and memories of the departing students.

The evening commenced with a warm welcome of Ms. Lipika Sharma, Vogue Miss India 2024 as a chief guest of the event. The farewell party was not merely a formal affair but a lively celebration of the diverse talents and cultural heritage of the college community. Students showcased their artistic abilities through captivating performances, including music, dance, and poetry. The audience was enthralled by the creativity and passion displayed on stage, applauding enthusiastically for each act.

The farewell party reached its pinnacle of excitement as Mr. Final – Ms. Final & Mr. Eve- Ms. Eve selection was crowned amidst cheers and applause, marking a fitting conclusion to the evening’s festivities. Dr. Priti Gahlot, Managing Director, and The Chief Guest Ms. Lipika Sharma presented the awards to the winning stars. Mr. Sagar& Ms. Sakshi were the Mr. Farewell & Miss Farewell and Mr. Rohit & Ms. Jyoti were the winners of the Mr. Eve & Miss Eve titles. Dr. Preeti Gahlot, Managing Director, DPG Institute of Technology and Management gave her blessings to all the shining stars of the college. 

As the night progressed, there were opportunities to dance on the DJ Beats, DJ Nitish was the Evening star of the party. The farewell party successfully concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof.TR Narula, Registrar who took the medium on behalf of the DPGITM to thank all the organizers, Staff & students.
