Industrial Visit At DUCAT Gurugram For BCA Students For 2026 Passing Out Batch

The Management Department successfully organized an industrial visit for BBA 4th semester students to DUCAT Gurgaon on [6th February 2025]. The visit provided students with practical exposure to software development, IT infrastructure, and corporate work culture. Industry experts conducted interactive sessions on emerging trends, skill development, and career opportunities in IT and management. This visit bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, enhancing students’ industry readiness. The department extends its gratitude to DUCAT Gurgaon and faculty coordinators for making this experience insightful and enriching.

Women Empowerment & Self-Defence Session

A special session on Women Empowerment and Self-Defence was conducted at DPGITM on 4th February 2025, led by Ms. Anuradha Kaushik. The session aimed to raise awareness about gender equality, self-confidence, and personal safety. Ms. Kaushik emphasized the importance of self-awareness and self-defence techniques to help women navigate challenges in personal and professional life.

The session included practical demonstrations on self-defence techniques, equipping participants with essential skills to handle real-life situations. Faculty members and students actively engaged in discussions, making the session highly interactive and insightful.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, where participants clarified their doubts and shared their experiences.

Five-Day Youth Red Cross (YRC) Training Camp

DPGITM College, Gurgaon, proudly hosted a five-day Youth Red Cross (YRC) Training Camp, bringing together students from 20 colleges to engage in awareness programs on disaster management, drug prevention, social media responsibility, and women empowerment. The camp featured expert-led sessions, hands-on fire safety training, and interactive workshops on civic responsibilities. Students took a pledge to stay away from drug abuse and the negative impact of social media, reinforcing their role as responsible citizens. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including college management and Red Cross officials, making it a truly enriching experience for all participants.

Youth Red Cross Training Program at DPGITM

Youth Red Cross has successfully organized a comprehensive five-day training event at DPGITM, focusing on vital skills and awareness in CPR, First Aid, Women Empowerment, Cyber Security, Cyber Fraud, and Banking Fraud. The event aims to empower and educate students with essential life-saving skills and knowledge to navigate modern-day challenges effectively.

The program has witnessed the participation of 100 students from 17 colleges, showcasing a strong collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for learning. The inauguration of the event was graced by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Gurugram, who commended the initiative for its impactful and socially relevant agenda.

Through this initiative, Youth Red Cross aims to build a generation equipped with practical knowledge and skills, contributing positively to society’s growth and safety.

Ek Aas – A Donation Drive by DPG ITM Engineering College Faculty and Students

The Joy of giving is the greatest joy of life
Today’s donation drive “Ek Aas” inspired the students to be responsible towards society .The students not only contributed generously but also actively engaged in organizing and managing the event. Their efforts to sort, pack, and distribute the donated items demonstrated a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need. The drive became more than just an act of charity—it transformed into a learning experience, fostering empathy, teamwork, and social responsibility.
