Our students, Tushar Khandelwal, Sameer Yadav, Saurabh Singh, Sachin Sharma, Rudraksh Bali and Manisha Kumari representing the Department of EE, ECE, ME, and CSE participated in the prestigious national-level competition (SIH-2024) under the mentorship of Ms. Swati Sharma from the Department of Electrical Engineering.
The students were tasked with addressing a complex problem statement: “To design an industrial-scale green hydrogen production facility capable of producing over 50 tons per day (TPD) with a levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) below $2 USD per kilogram.” This challenge provided an opportunity for the students to apply their technical expertise in devising a viable solution.
The competition offered a dynamic platform for creativity, teamwork and innovation where the students collaborated effectively to tackle real-world engineering challenges. Throughout the event, they gained invaluable experience in problem-solving, project development and practical application of their skills. This participation proved to be an excellent learning opportunity and we eagerly anticipate future endeavors in similar technical events.
