On 15th September 2024, IIT Mandi organized an insightful live online session at DPGITM College, focusing on “Essential Industrial Skills Beyond the Classroom” to help students secure high-paying jobs and internships.
The session highlighted key areas such as:
- Technical expertise: The significance of mastering current technologies and tools.
- Soft skills: Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Industry readiness: Understanding workplace dynamics and gaining real-world experience.
During the session, Ms. Monika played a pivotal role by explaining the importance of proficient skills in the modern job market. She emphasized that beyond theoretical knowledge, practical, industry-specific skills are crucial for standing out in competitive job landscapes.
