TechBloom – Hands-on Workshop on Artificial Intelligence
The Department of Computer Applications successfully conducted a technical workshop titled
“TechBloom” on Artificial Intelligence for BCA students on 03 November 2025. The session
was graced by esteemed technical experts Mr. Rohit and Ms. Seema Soni, who shared valuable
insights on recent advancements and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence.
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ technical understanding of recent trends and provide
them with hands-on exposure to emerging technologies shaping the future of computing.
The event also included technical sessions on various trending domains such as Data Science
(DS), Data Analytics (DA), Java Full Stack Development, Python Full Stack Development,
Frontend Development, Backend Development, and Generative AI (GenAI).
The TechBloom event witnessed active participation from over 500 students across various
departments. Participants enthusiastically engaged throughout the sessions, gaining both practical
knowledge and a deeper understanding of AI-driven technologies.
At the conclusion of the event, Certificates of Participation were distributed to all attendees as
recognition of their active involvement and learning during the workshop.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Management — Dr. Preeti Gahlot (MD Ma’am), Mr.
Surender Gahlot (General Secretary), Dr. R. C. Kuhad (Director), Mr. T. R. Narula (Registrar),
Dr. Mukesh Yadav (Dean Academics), Dr. Sarika Chaudhary (Associate Dean), and Ms.
Rashmi Verma (HOD, CAD) — for their continuous encouragement and support in organizing such
knowledge-enriching events.

The TechBloom workshop proved to be a resounding success, inspiring students to explore the
evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence and equipping them with the technical confidence to
innovate and excel in their academic journey.

National Level Project competition- ATOMQUEST by Atomberg Technologies
Our B.Tech (1st, 2nd and 3rd year) Students, Aniket Kumar, Tushar Khandelwal, Sachin Sharma, Rudraksh Bali and Sameer Yadav participated in National Level Project Competition (ATOMQUEST) organized by Atomberg Technologies on October 15, 2025, under the guidance of Dr. Swati Sharma, faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
They successfully advanced to the final stage of the competition, surpassing participants from 600 colleges all over India.
The event provided an intensely competitive arena for robotics enthusiasts to exhibit their mastery in designing and programming Vacuum Cleaning Bot. Our team successfully progressed to the final round, demonstrating exceptional technical acumen and innovative problem-solving capabilities. Throughout the competition, our students gained invaluable insights into advanced robot design, strategic planning and collaborative teamwork. This achievement has further fueled our commitment to refining our expertise and actively participating in similar high-caliber events in the future.





Cyber Security & Malware Analysis Workshop
We are delighted to share that DPG Institute of Technology and Management, Gurugram successfully hosted a Cyber Security & Malware Analysis Workshop today in collaboration with the ROOTxCon Foundation and M Cyber Academy, under the National Digital Suraksha Abhiyaan initiative.
The session focused on promoting Cyber Awareness and Digital Safety, offering participants hands-on insights into modern malware analysis techniques and cyber defense practices.
A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Hardeep Thakran for connecting us with M Cyber Academy and making this collaboration possible. Special appreciation to our event coordinators — Dr. Poonam and Ms. Jyoti — for their dedicated efforts in planning and executing the workshop seamlessly.
