The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE / AIML / DS) at DPG Institute of Technology and Management, Gurugram, hosted Project Excellence Meet 2.0 on 1 September 2026 at the Future of Work Lab (Lab 108), Block A, under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC‑DPGITM). The meet gave final-year students of CSE, AIML and Data Science a platform to showcase their innovative project ideas, technical skills and practical understanding through poster presentations — twelve project teams in all — and to defend their work before the institute’s leadership and faculty.

The event was built around industry-oriented and socially relevant project work: applying academic knowledge to real-world problems, and integrating emerging technologies — Artificial Intelligence in particular — with a clear sense of purpose. Addressing the students, Adviser Prof. (Dr.) R.C. Kuhad highlighted the importance of the right and responsible use of AI in academic and project work, and encouraged the teams to move beyond conventional solutions and add genuine novelty to their projects, so that their work creates meaningful impact and demonstrates originality.

The meet was graced by Adviser Prof. (Dr.) R.C. Kuhad, Deputy Director Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, Dean Academics & HOD CSE/AIML/DS Dr. Sarika Chaudhary, Associate Dean Prof. (Dr.) Aman Jatain, HODs and faculty members, whose presence and guidance further motivated the students.
