Introduction & Target Audience
Logic Break CTF is a Web Development Capture The Flag event organized by the Computer Applications Department to provide students with an opportunity to apply their web development, logical reasoning, debugging, and problem-solving skills in a practical and competitive environment. The event was designed for students interested in cybersecurity-oriented challenges, web technologies, and technical problem solving.
Objectives
- To provide students with a practical platform to apply web development and problem-solving skills.
- To encourage logical thinking, debugging, and analytical abilities through hands-on challenges.
- To promote interest in cybersecurity and secure web development practices.
- To provide students with an opportunity to collaborate, compete, and learn in a technical environment.
Participants
Students from BCA and B.Tech programmes of DPGITM participated in the event in teams. Each team consisted of two members.
Brief Report
The Computer Applications Department, DPG Institute of Technology and Management, organized the “LOGIC BREAK CTF – Web Development CTF” to encourage students to strengthen their technical and logical problem-solving abilities. The event was conducted in two stages, with the preliminary round held on 17th September 2026 and the main round held on 21st September 2026, starting at 10:00 am.
During the event, participating teams worked on web development and CTF-based challenges that required logical analysis, debugging, observation, and technical skills. The competition provided students with a practical learning environment where they could apply concepts beyond the classroom while working under time constraints.
The event also encouraged teamwork and healthy technical competition among students from different branches and programmes. Participants actively engaged with the challenges and demonstrated their ability to identify problems, analyze web-based tasks, and arrive at appropriate solutions.
