CRAC Learning Foundation, a non-profit organization backed by NASSCOM and DSCI, plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academia and industry. Through structured learning pathways, industry-focused labs, and mentorship, the foundation empowers students with relevant skills aligned with current cybersecurity demands.
The inaugural session provided participants with comprehensive exposure to modern cybersecurity domains. Students were introduced to structured programs such as the Cybersecurity Launchpad, designed to build strong foundational and advanced technical competencies. Practical demonstrations in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), threat analysis, and radio frequency security offered valuable insights into real-world cyber threats and defense mechanisms. Live demonstrations, including flight tracking using ADS-B data and replay attacks on wireless systems, further enhanced experiential learning.
The event also highlighted the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals and explored diverse career pathways such as Security Analyst, Penetration Tester, and Security Engineer.
