A highly engaging session on entrepreneurship and job opportunities was conducted in Department of Management Studies at DPG Institute of Technology and Management on 4th September, 2024. The session was led by seasoned industry expert Mr. Roshan Agarwala (Ex-EY GDS, Auditing US) in association with TPO Ms. Swati Bhardwaj and Prof.(Dr.) Sapna Dadwal, HoD, Department of Management Studies. It provided an in-depth understanding of both entrepreneurship and corporate job opportunities, helping students navigate the next steps in their professional journeys. It attracted a large number of enthusiastic students eager to learn about their career prospects.

The session began with an introductory talk highlighting the crossroads students often face when deciding between pursuing a corporate career or venturing into entrepreneurship. The discussion laid out the potential rewards and challenges associated with both career trajectories, providing a clear framework for making informed decisions. The second half of the session focused on job opportunities within the corporate sector. Students were provided with insights into the current job market and discussed the skills and competencies employers are seeking in today’s fast-evolving business environment.The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students asked a wide range of questions, from how to secure seed funding for startups to tips for excelling in virtual job interviews. Overall, the session was a resounding success, leaving students better informed and motivated to take their next steps, whether it be starting their own business or pursuing opportunities in the corporate world.
