Construction Site of Indian Institute of Art and Design Constructing by Nitigya Buildcon Private Limited

Today department of Civil Engineering conducts a site visit for students as they provide real-world exposure to construction sites, infrastructure projects, and engineering practices. It’s an opportunity for our Civil Engineering students to see theoretical concepts in action, understand the challenges faced in the field, and observe how engineering principles are applied in practical scenarios. Here are some glimpses of the site visit.

The DPG Institute of Technology and Management (DPGITM), renowned for its commitment to practical learning, recently organized an industry visit for its students. The visit, conducted by the Department of Civil Engineering, was to the construction site of the prestigious Indian Institute of Art and Design, a project undertaken by Nitigya Buildcon Private Limited.

The visit was more than just a field trip; it was an opportunity for the Civil Engineering students of DPGITM to witness the real-world application of the theoretical concepts they learn in classrooms. The construction site, bustling with activity, served as the perfect backdrop for students to understand the intricacies of infrastructure projects and engineering practices.

The students were exposed to the challenges faced in the field, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the practical scenarios in which engineering principles are applied. This hands-on experience is invaluable, bridging the gap between textbook knowledge and its practical application. The visit to the construction site offered students a glimpse into the world of civil engineering beyond the confines of their classrooms. They observed the various stages of construction, the materials used, and the techniques employed. They also had the chance to interact with professionals on-site, gaining insights into their roles and responsibilities.

This industry visit is one of the many initiatives by DPGITM’s training and placement department to ensure that their students are well-prepared for their future careers. By providing them with exposure to real-world scenarios, DPGITM is equipping its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their respective fields.

The images captured during this visit offer glimpses of this enriching experience.

The industry visit to the construction site of the Indian Institute of Art and Design by Nitigya Buildcon Private Limited was a resounding success. It provided DPGITM students with a unique learning experience, further solidifying the institute’s reputation for excellence in practical learning.
