• Objectives: This event aimed to foster active student participation in language learning exercises to facilitate enhanced language acquisition through increased practical application beyond standard instructional methodologies.

A book review competition cultivates a vibrant literary environment, encouraging thoughtful engagement with books and enhancing critical thinking, reading, writing, and communication skills. Books serve as constant companions, offering wisdom and guidance to students.

The Literary Club & Applied Sciences and Humanities Department organized its Annual Book Review Competition from May 7^th to 9^th, 2025, providing an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their analytical skills and deeply engage with diverse literary works.

The initial rounds took place on May 7^th and 8^th. On May 7^th, the Mechanical group (ME, CE, EE, and ECE) presented in the forenoon, with 4 out of 18 students advancing to the final. The CSE core branch presented in the afternoon, selecting 7 finalists out of 50 participants. On May 8^th, the forenoon session featured the AIML branch, with 10 out of 50 students qualifying for the final. The DS branch presented in the afternoon, with 7 out of 50 students selected as finalists.

The final round, held on May 9^th, 2025, saw the 28 finalists from the previous two days present their insightful reviews. The judging panel comprised the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Sushmita Sehwag, along with Dr. Rimmy, and Ms. Deepika Kalra. After careful deliberation, the winners were announced: Manas Kashyap from AIML secured the 1^st position, Megha Sharma from AIML claimed the 2^nd position, and Shriya Zutshi from AIML achieved the 3^rd position. The competition successfully concluded, fostering a deeper appreciation for literature and critical analysis among the participants.
