DPG Institute of Technology & Management Organizes Educational Trip to Dharamshala & McLeodganj
Gurugram, April 13, 2026 — DPG Institute of Technology & Management, Gurugram, organized an educational and recreational student trip to Dharamshala and McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh. Around 50 students from various branches including B.Tech, BBA, and BCA participated enthusiastically in the trip. The group departed today with great excitement and enthusiasm.
The trip is being accompanied and supervised by four faculty members: Dr. Simpi Mehta, Mr. Hardeep Thakran, Dr. Swati Sharma, and Mr. Deepak Saini, who will guide and ensure the safety and learning experience of the students throughout the journey.
The objective of the trip is to provide students with exposure beyond the classroom, encourage team bonding, and promote experiential learning. Dharamshala and McLeodganj, known for their scenic beauty, cultural heritage, and peaceful environment, offer students an opportunity to explore nature, understand local culture, and engage in group activities that enhance leadership and interpersonal skills.
Students expressed great enthusiasm and excitement as they embarked on this journey. Such trips play a vital role in holistic development by combining education, recreation, and cultural exposure.
